Lake District Estates | Corporate Social Responsibility Committee
Helping local communities and charities
By working together, we can help to create a better world for everyone
Our newly established Corporate Social Responsibility Committee aims to play a positive role in the local areas where Lake District Estates operates, by awarding community grants and charitable donations that provide support to local projects, groups, teams and individuals.
Community involvement in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is important because it helps to build stronger relationships between businesses and communities. It also helps to address social and environmental issues that are important to the community. This involvement can take many forms, including financial contributions to local projects and charities, and partnerships with local organisations.
Whether you're taking part in a marathon and looking for sponsorship, require funding for a charity event, or need support with an environmental project, we look forward to hearing from you.
How do I apply for a community grant ? Please download and complete the CSR Application Form and email it to csr.team@lakedistrictestates.co.uk.
What happens next? First, we'll let you know that your request has been received. Every quarter (the date of next meeting is below), the committee will meet and evaluate the request to determine whether it is feasible and aligns with our CSR policy. You will be notified of the outcome. We receive many requests of this nature, so please don’t be disheartened if you are not successful on this occasion. You are welcome to reapply at a later date.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions by emailing csr.team@lakedistrictestates.co.uk.
Next meetings: 13th January 2025
