Holiday Home Sales Offers
Please find below the terms and conditions for the offers advertised on our websites which relate to purchasing a holiday home at one of the Lake District Estates holiday parks. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the park manager.
Friends and Family Referral Eligibility Criteria
- Referral reward: £1,000 is credited to the owner’s park account. This can be used to offset any payments such as site fees, rates, utility usage etc. The credit will be added on successful completion of the sale and will automatically credit the owner's account balance.
- Minimum purchase requirement and application: There is no minimum purchase price for those customers who are referred. The offer applies to 'new customers' who have not previously owned at the park, referred by the existing owner and the offer excludes caravans or lodges available for sale privately.
- Verification process: To verify a prospective purchaser, existing owners will be required to forward the name, address (or email address) and contact number of the prospective purchaser at least 7 days prior to the prospective customer visiting the park.
- Communication: If the existing owner prefers the referee not to be aware of them being referred, we ask that the existing owner make that clear to us at the time of the referral.
- Conditions of cancellation: If the prospective customer's sale is cancelled and they do not complete the sale and go on to become an owner, then no referral fee will be paid.
- Limitations on rewards: There is no cash payment or alternative to the £1,000 credit. The credit can only be applied to the existing owner's park account.
- Number of referrals: There is no limit on the number of referrals an existing owner can make.
- Expiration: The current offer will expire on 31/01/2025.
Site Fee Offer | Pay no Site Fees in 2024 at Selected Parks
This offer is only available at the following selected parks; Clea Hall Holiday Park and Newby Bridge Country Caravan Park within the Lake District Estates group. Applicable on selected models only to new customer purchases made on selected parks from 22nd April 2024. The offer excludes part-exchange sales and pre-owned or private sales. The offer is available on new holiday homes at our parks and will take the form of a credit equivalent to the value of your site fees due during the 2024 season. The 2024 season runs until 2nd January 2025. The credit will be applied to your account balance on completion of the purchase for use against any running costs e.g. utilities. There is no cash payment or alternative to the credit and the credit can only be applied to the new owner's park accounts. The credit will be applied on completion of the sale. The offer can be withdrawn at any time subject to the availability of models within the offer.
Try Before You Buy
If you would like to experience our park first to ensure that the park is right for you, we offer the opportunity to ‘try before you buy’. Simply book a break in one of our Lake District self-catering cottages or apartments, and we'll refund the total cost of your holiday following the completion of the purchase of your holiday home.
- Conditions for 'Try Before You Buy' separate offer: Booking should be made in advance by contacting us in the first instance at bookings@lakedistrictestates.co.uk delivering the enquiry to simon.cooper@lakedistrictesates.co.uk.
- Eligibility criteria: Limited to customers who intend to purchase a caravan or lodge holiday home and who have not owned with us before. The offer excludes part-exchange sales and pre-owned or private sales.
- Duration and validity: The offer is subject to availability, for a minimum stay of three nights. Offer capped at a maximum refund of up to seven nights.
- Limitations: Only one stay per customer is offered. The offer is not available to previous or existing owner customers.
- Specific accommodation: The offer applies to our self-catering accommodation subject to availability, and in some instances, we may offer glamping or other self-catering accommodation.
- Ownership appointment: Offer guests will be required to attend an appointment with us where we can receive all the necessary information about purchasing opportunities and discuss if they prefer to proceed with a purchase.
- Feedback requirement: Following the stay, we will contact the guest to discuss their feedback.
- Code of conduct: Standard booking terms and conditions apply along with the conditions relating to behavioural standards.
Attraction Tickets | Ullswater 'Steamers'
Holiday homeowners are entitled to one family ticket per year, full-lake return trip.
- 100% off full lake return adult or child tickets (Glenridding to/from Pooley Bridge).
- The 'all piers add-on' is not included.
- Not valid for special events.
- No cash alternative.
- Tickets must be booked by the park reception.
- There is a small charge for dogs (£1) which can be paid on arrival at the attraction.
Attraction tickets | Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway
Holiday homeowners are entitled to one family ticket per year, a full-line return trip.
- 100% off full-line return adult or child standard tickets (Ravenglass to/from Dalegarth).
- Fees to upgrade to First Class or Pullman Coaches will apply.
- Not valid for special events.
- No cash alternative.
- Tickets must be booked by park reception.
- There is a small charge for dogs (£2.50) which can be paid on arrival at the attraction.
